What we do
The Elia Group makes sure the lights stay on. As operator of the high-voltage transmission network for electricity in Belgium (Elia) and in northeastern Germany (50Hertz), the Group supplies nearly 30 million end users with power. By connecting more renewable energy to our grid we contribute to the energy transition. How do we do that? We choose innovative infrastructure and exchange energy with our neighboring countries.
